AHIS provides qualified sign language interpreters for the following, but not limited to:

which interpreters may be utilized. These Standard Practice Papers are provided
with permission from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.

AHIS provides sign language interpreters for both children and adult consumers who:

  • Are nationally certified through the Registry of Interpreter’s for the Deaf

  • Are registered with the state of Pennsylvania’s Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
    through the Department of Labor and Industry

  • Possess all criminal and child abuse clearances and background checks

  • Possess general/professional liability insurance
